Permanent Surrender of Ownership

Purpose & Scope

This information and form covers all information regarding the surrender of cats and is a legally-binding agreement. You are responsible for reading and understanding it; if anything is unclear, please ask BEFORE sending the form below.

This agreement applies to all individuals who have been confirmed as eligible to transfer a cat into the permanent ownership of Pawsitive Cattitudes Rescue. If prior agreement has not been confirmed, the agreement is null and void on receipt.

Once sent, you will cease to own the cat(s) and this decision is irreversible.

I hereby certify that I am the rightful owner / keeper / caretaker / custodian of the cat(s) who is/are the subject of this form, hereinafter referred to as “the cat(s).”

I certify that no other person has a right of property to the cat(s).

I hereby surrender any and all property rights to the cat(s).

I understand that by surrendering my property rights to the cat(s), the cat(s) are transferred into the custody of Pawsitive Cattitudes Rescue and become their legally owned property.

I understand that once I relinquish the cat(s), the cat(s) will not be available to be returned.

I further certify that I have read and understand all the terms of this Cat(s) Surrender .
