Once Upon a Now...

We prioritise applications to adopt a cat from neurodivergent individuals and have no upper age-limit for people who wish to adopt.

Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate & rehome every cat in need that we possibly can, by providing a safe and loving environment until we find forever homes for each and every one of them.

What's that? Enough of the waffle and show you the cats? Not a problem!
The best way to fall in love with a cat...is to meet them! We ask you to complete a short enquiry form on our Adoptions Page, after which we will contact you to arrange an appointment.
For all queries relating to donating items and general information, please contact us on WhatsApp.
Please note: This number is unable to assist for adoption or surrender enquiries, which must be carried out through the website forms.

Today | By Appointment |
We are available for visits by appointment only:
Monday to Friday 1pm - 7pm, Saturdays Midday to 5pm.
Closed Sundays.
As we are staffed entirely by volunteers, our office hours also reflect these times; all messages / emails will be answered as soon as possible.
Thank you for your understanding.
We are always happy to accommodate early evening or Saturday visits - choosing a lifelong companion is a process that needs to be purrfectly carried out!
Our intake policy is non-selective, but is tiered in order of need, starting with strays in need of recuperation and immediate medical attention and pregnant/nursing females and their kittens. Our spaces are unfortunately limited by physical capacity and the funds we have available.
We deal with a wide range of cats, and as a result we regularly receive cats/kittens with serious medical conditions and/or behavioural problems. This means our dedicated team treat each animal on a case-by-case basis and do everything we can to give them the best chance of a happy future.
We have no upper or lower age limit on the cats/kittens that we will take in and may at times run a waiting list, although our hierarchy of needs always supersedes this list.
We reserve the right to not accept a cat into rescue based on discretionary grounds, such as reserving space for stray cats if the rescue is nearing capacity.
