Personality & Features
Allow us to introduce Malcolm: local celebrity, accomplished tabby, and a cat who somehow manages to be both impossibly charming and just a little bit terrifying when the mood takes him.
Built like a furry tank and carrying the confidence of an ex-street cat who once ruled his neighbourhood, Malcolm has never met a room he couldn’t stride into as though he owns the place. In fairness, after five minutes with him, you’ll probably agree that he does.
He’s a cat of strong opinions and even stronger enthusiasm. Life is simply too exciting for Malcolm to experience in moderation, and he can occasionally become a little overstimulated when caught up in the moment. He isn’t difficult - just gloriously expressive.
Malcolm appreciates people who understand that beneath every dramatic flourish lies a soft-hearted rogue, who simply feels things very deeply. There’s something wonderfully magnetic about Malcolm; one moment he’s surveying his kingdom with the gravitas of an old street boss - the next, he’s charming everyone around him with his quirks and larger-than-life personality.
He isn’t looking for owners so much as accomplices—people who will appreciate his stories, laugh at his antics, and provide the comfortable retirement package he insists he has earned.
For the right home, Malcolm won’t just be a pet. He’ll be a housemate, a comedian, a supervisor and, occasionally, a minor inconvenience.
But above all else, he’ll be unforgettable.
Sociability & Special Considerations
Malcolm is wonderfully sociable and genuinely enjoys the company of other cats, particularly the ladies. Whether he sees himself as a gallant gentleman or the star of his own romantic comedy is still up for debate, but he’s never far from a female companion and would love a home with another friendly cat.
He would do best in a home without another dominant male, ideally with female cats for him to socialise and play with. A home that includes respectful teenagers would be absolutely fine, but we would recommend against one with small children or babies, as it could be somewhat distressing if he were to choose them as a snack.

Personality & Features
Once upon a time, there was a little cat who couldn't sit still!
Always dashing here and there, this gorgeous little girl was always in a whirl - should she go here? Should she go there? Why is she EVERYWHERE?! Widget was a cat who didn't know where to go, or where she should be. As fluttery as a butterfly, she was always trying to find out where she should fit.
One day, exhausted, she was picked up by a kind man - he knew exactly where to take her. The lovely vets were very kind to her and made her feel much better, but all of a sudden, she found that this wasn't where she was meant to be either! It was all very worrying.
Snuggled into a lovely blanket, still feeling a little worse for wear, Widget was so worried when they told her she was moving - but just like the kindly man, the vets knew exactly where she should be too.
And so she arrived.
Tiny, worried, all in a fluster, Widget came to live with the cats of Pawsitive Rescue.
What was this? So many new experiences!
Over time, Widget realised that she didn't need to fidget anymore. Safe, warm and loved beyond measure, this beautiful little girl settled her wings and learnt what it meant to live a life of comfort, security and days in the sun.
Of course, like all good fairytales, there was more to come. Widget loved her new life so much, but knew that somewhere, with someone very special, there was even more to this story.
One day, she knows her forever family will come, with love in their hearts and a castle for her to call her forever home. Could it be you?
Sociability & Special Considerations
Lovely little Widget is a young cat that will do best in a home of her very own - she would make a wonderful cat for a family with kind children, or would be equally happy with a person of her own to snuggle up to. She may be happy in the company of a calm, well-behaved dog, and will bring so much sunshine to whomever is lucky enough to adopt her.

We offer a short series of questions, to help you find your forever feline-friend.
It's important to us that you meet your perfect match - and that our cats meet theirs!
We have some cats who are not yet featured on our website; even if you have a particular cat in mind, you can also meet all the ones who could be well-suited to you at the foster home you visit.
